Among resins, fluoropolymer (PTFE) is highly performant and excels in non-stick properties (slippery and difficult to adhere to). Utilizing these characteristics, it is coated on the surface of frying pans to make them resistant to dirt. While the non-stick property is an advantage, it can also become a disadvantage when you want to attach something to the fluoropolymer or stick it somewhere. The "EC Series" is a fluororesin baked coating/lining that can prevent static electricity buildup. This coating utilizes a unique technology that allows generated static electricity to escape in the volume (thickness) direction of the film, achieving volume directional conductivity. This structure provides a level of safety that cannot be achieved by allowing static electricity to escape in the surface direction.
